Registration for New Students
If you are zoned for Hillcrest Academy, your child will have access to transportation services provided by Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board.
However, if you are not zoned for Hillcrest but are interested in having your child attend our school, please note that you must first register your child at your zoned school. After registration, you can then apply for an out of zone transfer to Hillcrest Academy.
It is important to mention that if you are not zoned for Hillcrest, you will need to arrange transportation to and from school for your child.

Required Documents for Registration
- The child’s original long version birth certificate bearing parents’ names
- A proof of parents’ Canadian citizenship
- Two Québec proof of residency (ex. Tax receipt, any utility bill, etc.)
- Child’s last report card if attended a school the previous year
- Application for Certificate of Eligibility to English education will be filled out at the school during your appointment
- Some schools may require other documents
To register for K4 (pre-kindergarten), your child must be 4 years of age by September 30.
To register for K5 (kindergarten), your child must be 5 years of age by September 30.
